COMMUNITY PREVENTION SPECIALIST Full-time, responsibilities include working to empower communities to promote alcohol and drug free life styles, building community structures to support those life styles, and encouraging and supporting coordinated, systemic approaches to the prevention of substance abuse.  Must be able to travel approximately 70% of the time throughout the city of Wilmington.  Combination of BA or AA in related social service and/or communications field and at least 1-2 years related work experience. STATEWIDE PREVENTION COORDINATOR The Statewide Coordinator will work to empower communities to promote alcohol and drug free life styles, build community structures to support those life styles, and encourage and support coordinated, systemic approaches to the prevention of substance abuse. The Statewide Prevention Coordinator will provide supervision of all community mobilizing efforts as well as provide administrative support to the Program Director. This position requires a bachelor's degree, at least 2 years of related supervisory experience, and the ability to travel throughout the state. 

NEP (NEEDLE EXCHANGE PROGRAM) SUPERVISOR  Full-time, responsibilities include oversight of the NEP program including mobile outreach, the harm reduction outreach center, staff, and volunteer supervision, and services at all NEP sites.  BA degree in Human Services or related field and Prevention Specialist certification preferred.  Posted November 28, 2011
